Description

  • To perform various operation like straight turning, step turning, taper turning, knurling, internal and external thread cutting, grooving, parting etc.
  • To work safely on lathe machine, shaper machine, milling grinding, drilling machine etc.
  • To produce metal/non-metal machine parts to required shapes and sizes within specified tolerance with high degree of surface finish on Lathe machine.
  • Use of various precision measuring instrument like micrometre Vernier calliper, digital micrometre, dial indicator, sin bar etc.
  • All necessary calculation related to the work.
  • Useful work on bench fitting.

Notes

The syllabus for all Trades include the subject of Professional Knowledge, Professional Skill, Workshop Calculations & Science, Engineering Drawing and Employability Skills. In addition, the institute will provide training in:
