1. Which Trades are available and what are the time duration of the courses?

The available courses are

1. Fitter – 2 Years
2. Electrician – 2 Years
3. Turner – 2 Years
4. Welder – 1 Year

2. What is the age limit?

1. The minimum age of the aspirant should be 14 years as on June 1, 2024, and a maximum of 40 years of age as of July 1, 2024.
2. For widows of martyrs killed in military operations, the maximum age is 45 years.

3. What should be the minimum qualification for ITI Training?

Aspirants must have passed class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board. Mathematics & Science are two of the mandatory subjects that a candidate requires to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

4. Do I have to take regular classes?

Yes regular classes are compulsory for all trainees of all trades. Trainees whose attendance is less than 80% are not eligible to attend the AITT Annual Exam and Placement Drives.

5. Is there Summer Vacation and Winter Vacation?

No as per DGT Norms there is no any Summer or Winter Vacation in Industrial Training Institute.

6. Can Girls apply for ITI Training?

Yes, Girls can also apply for any of Trades available here.

7. What is the certification of the ITI?

ON completion of the Industrial Training Institution, all candidates must sit for the All India Trade Test (AITT). Those who pass the examination will get a certificate of National Trade Certificate (NTC.)

8. Which colleges provide ITI-courses in Jharkhand?

There are currently 322 Industrial Training Institutes in Jharkhand offering 6 month, 1 year or 2 years courses in various trades. These institutes are private or government run.

9. Is there Hostel and Canteen facilities?

Yes, both facilities are available on chargeable basis.
